April 12th marks the beginning of the first annual Orange County Happy Hour Week. During this week you will be able to visit some of your favorite restaurants for some fantastic happy hour specials. The best part about this is that most restaurants will be offering these fantastic happy hour special all day long for the entire week! No more rushing to try and get your order in before happy hour ends! I say we all just take the week off and try to hit up as many happy hours as we can all week. Who's with me?
Here are some of the participating restaurants and the menus that they are offering. More may be added soon.
If the restaurant name is clickable, you can view their special happy hour menu.
***Many of the restaurants are offering their happy hour specials all day, some only have extended hours though. Please check the page for the restaurant you are going to before going down to the restaurant.***

Thanks for posting this. As you mentioned, each restaurant seems to have different rules, so it's important to read carefully. Also, some restaurants have pretty good deals, but others seem expensive. A $12 cheese cube appetizer? I wonder what their regular price is...
Yeah jumpcut. I feel like a lot of restaurants unfairly got on to this list. The spirit of Orange County Happy Hour Week was supposed to be "all day, every day" happy hour specials. A lot of these restaurants still have limited hours though. I feel like these restaurants are just getting free advertising to promote their regular happy hour. And $12 for cheese? I didn't see that. Where is that? I'll have to avoid that one....
Griffin, check out the "Artisanal Cheese Plate" at Lucca. Adding insult to injury, you can only get the $12 cheese plate if you also order one of their expensive "wine flights."
I am soo surprised they got as many restaurants to do more than 4 hours with good deals. There is no way that the restaurants are making that much money. I think that the diners win this one!
Also, anywhere with good cheese is normally at about $20 for a nice plate. Not sure about Lucca but I paid $40 for a cheese and wine flight in San Francisco so that still looks good to me.
first of all, as someone who has been to lucca, i'm sure they aren't serving a "cheese cube appetizer," if it were, it would be about $2. anyone who has been there knows that theirs are artisanal and handmade cheeses--which would never be appreciated by someone who obviously consumes processed cheese. their cheese plates are basically a complete cheese board with seasonal fruit, house made crostini and sweet breads and dried fruits and nuts. i've paid around $15+ for this in the past. this is not the place for those looking for $4 ring dings and $3 buffalo wings.
i just checked out the happy hour week website and, in the spirit of the week, there is room for everyone, from dive chowder and chips, to upscale options. it's all a choice and just because some places choose to stay upscale, they shouldn't be bad-mouthed over it. people have a choice where they want to go and what they want to eat. ya don't want cheese, so what? I don't get it.
